Formats

The final format of the video produced can be one or more of the following:

• Digital master - can be provided if you wish to have a large quantity of the video duplicated. Alt. Productions can arrange duplication in large quantities if required.
  
• Standard VHS - the format for playback in an ordinary video player
  
• DVD - with DVD players now cheaper to buy than VCR's having your production supplied on DVD means higher quality, greater life span and low cost.
  
• Computer encoded - including video on the Internet, interactive CD-ROM's or in multimedia presentations e.g. powerpoint. There are many types of codec used for many purposes, the correct type(s) will be chosen for your project more about this can be found on the video streaming and video encoding pages.
